Testing is ongoing and progress is being made towards providing
unprivileged GPU-enabled Docker access on this machine (with the
eventual goal being to do the same on cfarm107/cfarm109).
The challenge in implementing this comes from the fact that we
have over 1100 users and that the mechanism of implementation
requires unique, non-overlapping ranges for process identifiers
while adhering to other system limits and avoiding unnecessary
resource consumption. This requires a more surgical approach.
The shortcut approach is to enable these features for a limited
subset of user accounts but this is not ideal, a non-starter.
I'll do a write-up and provide instructions and an announcement
once these capbilities have been made available to all users.
