So we have two needs: for an example of as many different Unices as
possible and a need for more compute hardware for people tackling
tasks that inevitably need it.

Are these two needs antagonistic? Surely a Virtual Thing can dedicate
all its CPUs to one of the images it's hosting, at a cost of only some
RAM occupancy by the other images?
