[cfarm-users] System without automatic linking in of -pthread

Hi,

is there a system on the cfarm which

a) does not automatically link in pthread (so no recent glibc)

b) on which it is straightforward to compile gcc, including
    gfortran?

It seems I have introduced a regression in gfortran which is only
visible without pthreads, and would like to debug this.
