[cfarm-users] cfarm420~430 are back

I'll ask the ISP to evaluate if they can get me 10Gbps fiber optic line, in a few months. The actual upload speed seems to be capped at 10~15Mbps. Ah the cruel reality of residential internet. And the worst thing is that this ISP doesn't offer static IP. So I rented a VPS (gandi.net) and use ssh port forwarding to forward all the ports there (see the IP addresses above). The unique network setup has been tested to work: there was one user who contacted me in private, who wanted to retrieve some files from cfarm422. In case anyone wants to transfer large amount of files out from cfarm420~430, it's best to use rsync over ssh. If I'm lucky, this whole networking mess can be resolved in 5~6 months.

And to think that Japan was one of the first places to offer FTTH at affordable prices... I used to dream about moving there for exactly this reason many, many years ago.

Why does it take half a year to switch ISPs though? That seems a bit extreme.
