[cfarm-users] gcc230: Unable to use GDB on 64-bit mips executable

In the past, I successfully "venture[d] to compile a 64-bit debugger with
corresponding dependencies".

On cfarm230, I have an ancient 64-bit GDB 8.0.1, built in 2017 on a
previous big-endian MIPS64 GCC CFarm machine.
IIUC, Pierre reports it is (so far) working for his current needs.

I've symlinked from my GDB install to /opt/cfarm/gdb-8.0.1.
However, Pierre reported that the symlink gave permission denied errors,
while direct access to the symlink target worked fine.
No clue what's up with that.
