Dear cfarm users,
There have been several interesting additions to the farm in recent weeks,
here is a summary:
We have two Nvidia DGX Spark GB10 machines, which are aarch64 systems
based on a Grace Blackwell GB10 with 128 GB of unified memory (CPU/GPU).
They run DGX OS 7, based on Ubuntu 24.04.
More details here: https://portal.cfarm.net/news/56
We have one Nvidia Jetson AGX Thor, again aarch64 with a GPU, but with a
quite different architecture compared to the DGX Spark.
More details here: https://portal.cfarm.net/news/58
On the x86_64 front, we remind you that cfarm186, 187 and 188 will be
shutdown on March 26th, and that you need to copy any useful data as soon
as possible. It will not be possible to recover data after this date.
Five new x86_64 have been setup at OSUOSL to replace them: Debian 13 & 14,
AlmaLinux 10.1, OpenSUSE Leap 15.6, DragonFlyBSD 6.4.
More details here: https://portal.cfarm.net/news/59
We have several new POWER9 VMs in Japan, based on a RaptorCS Talos II
system. The VMs are running Debian (with different combinations of
endianness and PAGESIZE), Alpine, Rocky, FreeBSD.
More details here: https://portal.cfarm.net/news/60
Finally, we have two experimental GNU/Hurd systems. They have a low amount of
resources and may crash easily, but we hope they can still be useful.

Many thanks to all the people and organizations behind the scene that made
this possible: Nvidia, OSUOSL, Adélie Linux, David Edelsohn, Lance
Albertson, Zach van Rijn, Luke Yasuda.
